Insure your travel

Why Do I Need Travel Insurance?

Canceled flights. Lost luggage. Sudden illness. When your trip doesn’t go quite as planned, you can count on travel insurance to help make things right.

  • You’ve invested a lot in your trip. If you have to cancel your plans for a covered reason, cancellation benefits can reimburse you for your prepaid, non-refundable trip expenses.
  • Medical emergencies happen. If you’re hurt or injured on your trip, emergency medical benefits can provide reimbursement for covered emergency medical costs — even abroad, where many personal health insurance plans don’t provide coverage.
  • Minor mishaps don’t have to be major headaches. If you have a covered travel delay, delay benefits can reimburse you for eligible expenses like hotels, meals, or necessary replacement items from your luggage.
  • Round-the-clock reassurance. If you run into an emergency or just need advice for your adventure, hotline assistance can give you 24-hour access to our team of assistance experts.

IMPORTANT: Our travel protection plans generally do not cover losses related to COVID-19, including due to government-imposed travel bans or other travel restrictions related to COVID-19. We highly recommend that you DO NOT purchase a travel protection plan for such conditions.
